Social Media Helps You Connect With The World

Social media is a big way to connect with people all around the world. Many people use blogs to express themselves or to try to reach to others. Blogs are a good example to write to others because you can post it and everyone will see it. Teens and adults use social media for jobs or school. Sometimes making a blog it's their homework. Social media is very useful because it will help you contact people that live in other countries. Blogposts are intertaining because there are different kinds of blogs that are specific and talk about serious problems. Teens and adults find social media interesting because it makes their jobs easier and help see their friends.

why do i want to go?

why i want to go to college is because college is going to help succeed later in life. Having an education will open more doors for me. I will get a job a actually enjoy doing, not having an education will not make life easier for me. i want to make my parents proud. i will give all i have to have a great future. i want my future to be bright, college is very important in our lives because without education you don't have anything. we always have to try our best and worry about us. don't let others bring you down and don't worry about negativity. always have a positive attitude because that will help!

Showcase Reflection

My presentation came out good because all my group members participated. our topic was poor diet in HP, i think it was a good topic because that is what we have here in our community. what i like about this project was that i was able to communicate with different people that don't come to this school. i was a little bit nervous but after i got the hang of it. i saw different groups and different topics. all the groups had everything ready and were able to present without a difficulty.

well i couldn't come to my conference because my mom was going to come out late from work. but the last conference it went good. im passing all my classes and to keep having that im going to study harder and come to tutoring if i need help.  learned many new things from there,for example i explain my mom all the work that we did. next time i will make sure i come. we did many projects; for example in my math class we did graphs, in my history class we created a news paper, in my sports med class we did a lab and more things.

we were suppose to explain our parents the work that we do in our classes and how are we improving.

Reflection: all you have to do its always lead your life the right way. never do something that you will regret later on. every effort that you make will eventually pay off. always try your best in everything you want to achieve.

The Importance of Setting and Achieving Goals 

its important to set goals because you will have a motivation to keep trying to reach your goal. setting goals will make you see what kind of things you want to achieve. achieving goals are the most amazing thing every because you feel like a champ at the end. when you finish a goal make another one so you could be busy and accomplishing things . make positives goals for example get your high school diploma, pass all your classes with a C or better or even get  in a soccer team. do something productive!

well my student led conference went very well because my teachers told my mom good news and good things i do in class. i have good grades and that made my mom proud :) we didn't go to all my teachers because it was getting late already and the lines didn't go fast. but at the end everything went good.
